As the lockdown continues, certain online shops get to sell items that have been approved by our Government. The lists gradually grows and is something I look forward to viewing to see what I can and cannot buy. You can actually order any item but the essential items do not have to wait for the lockdown to cease before it gets delivered.
I'm on the lookout for adjustable Trekking Poles to use instead of my fixed ski poles. Unfortunately these are not on the essential items list. Looking through the website there was some sporting goods, and as a cyclist it was interesting to see what is available.
Who came up with this list ?
If this is an essential item, then there has to be someone high up in the ranks lacking equipment of his own, if you know what I mean! At this point lets see what else we can find ...
Come on ladies, if the world around you is falling apart (like it kind of is right now) would you turn around to your partner and say, while you're ordering that first aid kit and batteries for the emergency torch, get me some sexC underwear ?
Finding a bit of humour during these critical times helps relieve the fear.
There is a high proportion of our population that accepts a further 4 weeks of lockdown, if there is a high chance of completely eradicating this pandemic. I'm proud of our small nation, but sometimes, some people shouldn't be in places that make life threatening decisions.
