This was just a short ride following the Ironmaori Cycle in the weekend just gone. It's time to get more serious as the Taupo Cycle Challenge approaches 30th November 2019. I need to work up to 80kms which includes 3 big hill climbs. Once again I'll be riding for USO Bike Ride.
It was extremely windy today which reduced my speed significantly, but unlike others, I don't really mind riding into the wind. That GPS data had a glitch where the graph at 16.6km mark shows a hill climb, there's no hill.
This last photo shows the free merchandise you get when you enter and complete the Ironmaori Triathlon, each year there is a different colour theme and design, really cool.
