I just finished a 37.213km cycling that lasted about 2hh:14mm:55ss !

Once again I decided not to participate in today's USO Group ride, my goal was to concentrate on hill climbs. The weather was atrocious with high winds all day, and I was a bit doubtful about going up the Wainuiomata Hill Summit.

So my for the 1st part, a small local street hill climb before heading out into the country side, and typical of New Zealand, the surrounding hills sheltered me for the most part.

Returning to the town centre I decided to ride up the Summit, it was a blasting head wind all the way to the top, which I don't mind at all. It's like adding another 10degrees of steepness, I needed the workout
At the peak of the Summit was a completely different story. There was so much cross winds I was struggling just to stay upright on my bike. Like a true stubborn cyclist I proceeded to descend the other side at an extremely slow and cautious pace. A few times I was lucky not to be blown of the bike but in my mind, ascending on the way back with a huge tail wind, should be fun.
It was fantastic, well worth the panic attacks.

Is Steem My New Home
When your head is down and your grinding hard on your pedals, lots of things cross your mind. It's probably why I don't win races LoL although it's good to get your thoughts out, some are fascinating.
Ever since Vidme shut-down, I have been searching for a similar platform, where real content creators can be found (I miss these guys so much). Going back to Youtube was so disappointing and that platform just seems to get worse every day. The only reason it is still going, is the huge number on content creators that use it.
Content On Steem's Social Media Platform is Too Small From a Viewers Point of View
How wrong was I to think this, now that I understand the importance of TAGS I have discovered not only interesting articles/videos, but real content creators. There are posts on subjects I would totally ignore but somehow, the title caught my eye and after reading the post, it just blows me away. I agree with what I have seen some people say, that there is a lot of high quality content here that just doesn't get seen.
Here's an example, anyone who knows me knows that I don't like running but today I decided to look at the tag #exhaust and this came up on the list - Chernobyl Heroes. It was so good I re-blogged it
The success to STEEM is in good hands, you guys! This is my new home!
