I just finished a 29.335km cycling that lasted about 1hh:17mm:19ss !

It's been a while since I've ridden my bike, since we are currently under Lockdown Alert Level 3 (New Zealand), I'm allowed to cycle but I'm not to leave the suburb. Tomorrow we are moving on to level 2 which allows me a lot more freedom, I can finally cross over into the Hutt Valley. Not that I will because I'm definitely not ready to do hill climbs of any sort, need to work on my regaining my fitness.
So I grabbed my bike and immediately discovered 2 problems. Front tire flat, cycle computer not displaying at all. 15mins later, good to go!

Today's ride was only meant to be a warm up loop ride around the suburb, but I ended up doing 3 laps because it was such a nice day. Traffic was light and not many people on the streets, I wonder what it would be like a few months down the track post pandemic. Things are never going to be the same after this.

I really enjoyed today's ride, riding these loops was not as boring as I thought it would be. Got home and after a quick shower put up the tent for a 5 degrees Celsius overnight sleep out in the back yard!
